Pema Karpo Meditation Center is located on eleven acres at 3921 Frayser Raleigh Rd, Memphis, TN, 38128. The center is inspired and guided by the teachings of Nyingma Tibetan Buddhism. Our founder and resident teacher is Khenpo Gawang Rinpoche. He is a Tibetan Buddhist scholar, monastic, and meditation teacher who studied at Namdroling Monastery in Southern India. He was sent to teach in the USA by his main teacher, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and makes his home in Memphis.
